About Kirk Essary

Kirk Essary is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Meanings Program of the ARC Centre for the History of Emotions at the University of Western Australia. His research at the Centre focuses on conceptions of emotion in sixteenth-century religious thought and intellectual history. His first book, Erasmus and Calvin on the Foolishness of God: Reason and Emotion in the Christian Philosophy, is due to appear in early 2017 with the University of Toronto Press.
